• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Smash Queue features a number of characters waiting in line for a spot. Among them, Snake, Wolf and the Ice Climbers returned, Inkling, Ridley, King K. Rool, Banjo and Kazooie, and Sora joined, Spring Man, Waluigi, Isaac and Shovel Knight became Assist Trophies, and Rayman and Shantae became spirits (with the latter also becoming a Mii costume).
  • One of Zoroark's attempts to get past Galar border patrol involves disguising himself as a "Galarian" Zoroark. While Galarian Zoroark remains nonexistent, Zoroark would indeed get a new regional form a couple games later.
