• Crosses the Line Twice:
  • Henry's Black Comedy Animal Cruelty in Cows isn't all that funny on its own, but him having to explain that he was joking to Gordon, who was actually planning to run over a cow next time he saw one, makes it hysterical.
  • James is spun around helplessly on the turntable at the start of Flying Kipper. Henry and Gordon continue arguing while James screams for help in the background.
• Uncanny Valley: Occasionally, episodes feature significantly altered screenshots (e.g. James's absolute fear in Strike and Thomas's escatic joy in Snow) that fall a bit into this trope because of said alterations clashing with the other (usually unaltered) screenshots.
