• Harsher in Hindsight: Chris McLean replacing the entire first generation of Total Drama contestants with a new cast actually does happen starting in Revenge of the Island season, and the few that do get to come back are reduced to small undignified cameos.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Seeing an adult participating in the show whose contestants are all teenagers could have been interesting (especially one related to one of the contestants), considering that DJ's mother could have possibly joined World Tour had she been with her son's group when Chris came to their rescue.
