• Arc Fatigue: The arc lasted 14 issues— over a year! Fans were turned off at the length of the story arc since it began with several Titans being kidnapped and Deathstroke hired to rescue them. Then we get a new villain society, a cheap Wolverine expy, a flying sheet, an unneeded trip to Russia, Cyborg turned into a complete robot, a new team of Titans from the future trying to kill Troia, and so on, and so on...
• Audience-Alienating Era: This is widely seen as the storyline responsible for starting a period of unpopularity for the Titans in the Nineties that wouldn't end until the 1998-99 relaunch comprising of Young Justice and Titans, though the Dan Jurgens run between the two eras has been since been reappraised by fans.
