• Fridge Horror: The story's set before the Time Skip, or any of the events leading up to it. While the adult characters discuss the dangers of taking three kids along the Grand Line, this is one they couldn't have predicted — and can leave the reader going "What If?"
• Heartwarming Moments: Plenty, but one standout instance is young Zoro realizing that Luffy, the strongest person he knows, doesn't care if he cries — then correcting himself: he does care, he just doesn't mind.
• Tear Jerker: "Find me?"
