- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The man who comes up to get some fresh air, looks at Petit and his associate, and quietly walks away. Lampshaded in the film as Petit says he never found out who that was or what he thought. The reason it's in the movie is because that actually happened.
- Crazy Is Cool: To complete a wire walk between the Twin Towers, miles above the earth and with no safety? Crazy? Yes. Awesome? Hell yes!
- Nausea Fuel: The 3D journey, artistically and exactingly shot to make the audience feel like they were 110 stories up, was so realistic it made people dizzy. Some got so nauseous they vomited.
