• Harsher in Hindsight: If Junior hadn't broken up a seemingly happy and fulfilling relationship with this woman Bobbi (especially over such a petty issue), she would likely be still in his life and be there to provide support and companionship when he begins to decline mentally due to dementia in his later years, as prominently shown in season 5's "Where's Johnny?" and season 6's "Members Only".
• Strawman Has a Point: Melfi is meant to be in the right when she says vigilante justice is never justified but Tony makes a good point that the years people like Hauser get are ridiculous and that if he killed him it would likely spare many women future trauma. This ends up becoming Harsher in Hindsight after Melfi's rapist gets away free with his crime, because she doesn't tell Tony about it.
