  • One of Greg's failed robot ideas is Diamond Man, "the robot who shoots diamond missiles that explode into four diamonds." Mega Man 9 has Jewel Man, who was tentatively called Diamond Man, and his Jewel Satellite is a shield weapon that creates four rotating jewels around the user.
  • Inverted in that Greg sarcastically suggests making "Garbage Man" if Wily doesn't want to pay for quality Robot Master designs. Mega Man 7 already has Junk Man, who is literally made from scrapped robot parts.
