• Common Knowledge: Many fans mistakenly assume this was Scott's high school senior project, but it wasn't. It did start life as a school project, but only as part of one (and for a single class presentation, not as a capstone project), and it was much different from what the final product ended up becoming with an actual informative slant. That didn't work out and the end product merely was a pet project Scott did in his spare time with his friends (and considering much of the humor would be far too edgy and crass to be presentable in a school setting, that's just as well).
• Moral Event Horizon: Mr. Bandwidth crosses it twice. First by killing Captain Dial-Up for trying to foil his plan. Second by destroying the entire internet and everyone within it.
