• Alternate Character Interpretation: It has sometimes been joked to anyone who suggests Shaggy from Scooby-Doo was a stoner that they should instead check this show out. Given it has a bear with an afro and an invisible motorcycle, it is an amusing fan theory.
• Ho Yay: From "Keep Your Keeper," chasing the bears and Mr. Peevly (in a bear suit) into a dance floor, Botch and Grunch (Peevly's fill-in) are unable to enter the floor without dance partners. They wind up dancing with each other.
  Botch: I feel silly, Mr. Grunch.
  Grunch: It's all in the line of duty, Botch.
