• Angst? What Angst?: The love of Frank Buckley's life dies horribly right in front of him. He never sheds a tear.
• Heartwarming Moments: When the ghost of Theresa/Amanda possesses Sarah to force Nick to kill himself, he apologizes profusely for killing her brother and acknowledges that while he thought her brother deserved it, he still murdered him and was wrong for it. She's so moved, she crosses over into the afterlife finally at peace and lets Nick live.
• The Woobie: Anyone, as long as the viewer finds them sympathetic. See Gray-and-Grey Morality.
  • Devon is perhaps the exception as she seems to go out of her way to be catty with everyone that wrongs her or that she considers a threat of some sort. Everyone else she seems to consider useful and just manipulates them. What best recommends her for this is how visibly upset she is when Frank kills himself after she gets his wife killed as it's clearly a consequence she didn't anticipate or want.
