• Alternative Character Interpretation: As Iris says Thawne is manipulating Nora but also cares for her, which makes it extremely hard to tell if he deliberately taught Nora how to access the Negative Speed Force to get back at Barry as a revenge beyond the grave plot or if he did because he sincerely wanted to reunite her with her family; it's up in the air.
  • Also during Ralph's scene where he cheers up Sherloque and convinces him that he is still a valued member of the team. Is this a genuine display of kindness & friendship or does Ralph suspect something suspicious regarding Thawne & Sherloque and it was all an act to make sure Sherlogue didn't leave early and throw off suspicion?
• Arc Fatigue: The Icicle storyline could've been a lot more interesting had it not been overshadowed by the prolonged Cicada storyline.
• Narm: The test to see if Carla was turned into a meta takes an unusually long time to register for literally no reason at all, just because the writers wanted no one to know for now.
