- Good Bad Bugs: Stoddard extensively snarks about many of them in the present-day commentary, such as the fact that it is possible to kill the Big Bad of The Spinning Stone as many times as you like, and that in Space-Man you can die by shooting yourself with a gun you don't actually have.
- Polished Port: Both games really show off the versatility of Smash (the programming language used for Adventure Games Live) by porting a collection of text adventure games originally intended for a completely different medium, including a running commentary by the writer and even including Unlockable Content. Several of the games were also so incomprehensible and bug-ridden as to be totally unplayable, and the fact that functional versions of them were able to be made at all is impressive.
