• Hilarious in Hindsight: The entire tale becomes this in 2020 when Joe Biden was indeed elected President of the United States.
• Moral Event Horizon: Newt Gingrich crosses it during the sequence when, with President Biden suffering a brain aneurysm and the Vice-Presidency vacant due to Gingrich suggesting that the Republicans drag out the hearings on Rhode Island Senator Claiborne Pell to become the next Vice-President after elected Vice-President Rudy Perpich and his party^note including Al Franken; working in this timeline as Perpich's press secretary were assassinated in Czechoslovakia and the U.S. about to go to war; leaving Pennsylvania Congressman William Gray, the Speaker of the House in this timeline after Jim Wright - as he did in real life - resigned following an ethics scandal as Acting President; and when House Minority Whip Dick Cheney blasted Gingrich for talking him into going along with the stunt in light of Biden's health and the heightened tensions internationally, Gingrich could only think of trying to make partisan attacks on Gray being black; especially considering that shortly after the phone call, in this timeline Cheney drops dead from a heart attack.
