• Inferred Holocaust: The effect of the Totem is that it strips the humanity of anyone in the area, causing them to fly into a blind rage and attack each other constantly. However, the show only ever displays the MMA arena and Esme's house being affected. We never see any auto accidents occur from the thousands of drivers that would be affected, nobody pulls out any dangerous weapons (aside from a guy who only uses a gun when Supergirl shows up), and there's no talk of any property being destroyed. What's more horrifying is that there was surely at least one hospital in range of the Totem. How many patients, doctors, and nurses died due to everyone becoming filled with rage (or conversely, patients were killed by medical staff)?
