- Camera Screw: The game's camera is very, very flawed and will often make sudden motions on its own or get stuck on scenery. In the PC version you can only turn it while standing still, which is very inconvenient when multiple enemies are involved.
- So Okay, It's Average: The game has an interesting setting and genuinely fun levels, but the broken camera and Fake Difficulty elements can quickly get on one's nerves. Even the general controls and character collision can be unreliable for precise platforming at various times.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The story makes a big deal out of Virtua Circus pursuing the Space Circus crew everywhere, but they don't play an active role in sabotaging Starshot's quest except for appearing towards the end of Primitron to kill the bird he was looking for. You usually find a few VC mooks walking around at some point of given planet and that's it.
