• Inferred Holocaust: While it's never addressed in canon, it seems more than likely that the extermination of the Maquis meant the slaughter of all the former Federation colonists in the DMZ, whether they were active Maquis members or not. The Jem'Hadar don't make distinctions for non-combatants, and the Cardassians' original goal was to purge the region of Federation colonists, anyway.
• Narm: When Sisko distracts the two Jem'Hadar soldiers so Eddington can shoot them, much is made of the fact Eddington can't see clearly and Sisko will be carrying a weapon so Eddington knows which figure is him, and this is shown when Sisko grapples with one of the Jem'Hadar and Eddington hesitates, unsure who to shoot. The problem is that even with just their foggy silhouettes to go by, one of the two is still clearly bald and the other has a head crest, making it pretty clear that low visibility or not, there's no way Eddington should confuse his targets.
