- Misaimed Fandom: Many know it through the Steam release — hidden from the public but easy to access if the URL is known — which was intended as a demonstration of Steam's API. Most who downloaded it through Steam, however, were less interested in playing the game than exploiting a security flaw to run cracked games.
- Polished Port: While the graphics suffer from the "third-party titles can't have black backgrounds" policy, the Atari 2600 port includes various modes that weren't in the original, including "space shuttle modes" which can be played solo unlike the battle modes. (The closest mode to the PDP-1 version is Game 5, and the shuttle mode with PDP-1 controls/hazards is Game 15.)
