Ask dropped the "Jeeves" name and mascot from their branding a year prior the episode's airing but the name was still well integrated in the general public's mind. In 2010 Ask dropped their search engine entirely citing loss of market share from competing search engines, making Kyle's line "Nobody uses Ask Jeeves, just Google search it!" still topical in 2022.
  • The depiction of Queen Elizabeth II as Britain's ruling monarch dates this episode prior to September of 2022 when she passed and was succeeded by Charles III.
