  • Heartwarming Moments: In the second episode, Dev shares a story from a friend whose grandfather died. His ghost came to say goodbye to her. Dev and Jasmin then say if you didn't get to say goodbye to a deceased loved one, they may have said goodbye to you in your dreams.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • The descriptions of the murders in "Missing And Murdered". A serial killer describes his crimes in such flippant terms and used cruel methods such as injecting his victims with antifreeze.
    • "Killer Confessions" describes a few of the murders Ed Kemper committed. They include decapitation, necrophilia, and a whole load of Monster Misogyny.
  • Squick: "Missing And Murdered" brings up a case where a serial killer may have disposed of some of his victims' bodies by dumping them in a meat processing plant. It’s unknown where the human remains ultimately ended up, but they likely went into meat products for sale.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • In “2 Cruel 4 School”, Jasmin lists the names and ages of the Sandy Hook shooting victims. Many were only six years old. As Dev and Jasmin say, no six-year-old should have to worry about dying at school, nor should their parents have to imagine it.
    • In the episode “Marginilized In True Crime”, Dev and guest host Kitty have a long discussion about the murder of 11 year old Riya Rajkumar by her father. Dev said they found it hard to see pictures of Riya because she could have been one of their relatives.
