• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: In its first two incarnations, the story is very bleak, featuring the dark premise of having Lincoln murdered by a serial killer after being locked out during “No Such Luck” and showing how the family falls apart afterwards. The second version especially seems to go out of its way to have the universe punish the Louds. Therefore, a good chunk of people were turned off by such dark themes.
