- Germans Love David Hasselhoff: The show is beloved in Hungary because it reran on television a lot back when TV programming was still scarce and there were few dubbed cartoons. It's seen as a classic staple of '90s animation, despite being a rather obscure series otherwise. Another reason for its popularity might be that the theme song has a better rhythm and more memorable lyrics in the dub.
