• Do Not Do This Cool Thing: In How I Met the Missus, Ducky explains that his promiscuity during his younger years were just a phase. He also says that it was exhausting and a miserable chore for him since he had to put a lot of effort into impressing a woman enough to hook up with him.
• Fridge Brilliance: Ducky's many negative portrayals of Tony actually makes sense when you think about their respective histories. Tony has apparently had affairs while with his girlfriend, Sarah, once while drunk and the others while sober. Ducky, on the hand, has been cheated on by his ex-girlfriend and still has plenty of anger and hate toward her. Ducky's portrayals of Tony might actually be a hint of maturity or character development on Ducky's part since he now likely finds Tony's affairs a horrible thing to do.
• Nausea Fuel: According to Ducky, a customer was so angry at the service that they somehow managed to crap on the shelves without anyone noticing. They were only aware of it once a customer told him and Ducky, as well as the other employees, decided they weren't being paid enough to clean it up.

  • In A Generously Sauced Duck - The First Time Drunk Was AWFUL!, a fourteen-year-old Ducky got blackout drunk on Vodka and remembers struggling to rebutton his jeans after trying to pee in a bush. Ducky then says he can't remember the entire story but he remembers waking up outside a local takeaway with his jeans still unzipped and found by his older brother. While Ducky is embarrassed by this story and his older brother did find the funny side of it, just imagine how horrifying that story is from his family's point of view; a member of their family goes missing for an entire afternoon, they have no means of contacting each other, is eventually found drunk on the streets with his jeans open, and has no memory of how he got there. Ducky's family was probably scared shitless over the thought that Ducky might have been drugged, sexually assaulted, and dumped on the street.
  • Ducky's sleep paralysis story, he was so scared by the experience that he deliberately stayed awake and called his mother to tell her what happened.
