- Ensemble Dark Horse: Edithe was originally slated to be killed by Stephen of the Iron Champions company, with Salvos arriving on the scene just a moment too late, but after noticing just how popular she was with the fanbase, not to mention having Salvos evolve into a demon of wrath after her death, the author had Salvos pull a Big Damn Heroes and rescue her, then teaching the arrogant coward Stephen what it means to be on the receiving side of a Despair Gambit.
