- Informed Wrongness: Asuka is treated as an arrogant bully whose "self-important babbling" (which entirely consists of attributing Irene's jittery behavior to uneasiness) is making Irene feel worse, even though Asuka never tells anything bad about Irene. Or even talks to her.
- Strangled by the Red String: Shinji has just met Irene, but he is already considering her as special as Asuka and Rei. And even though he has barely exchanged some few words with her, Shinji cannot stop thinking about Irene and her soft hands. To drive the point home, the preview for the next (never written) chapter teases the possibility of a romance flourishing between Shinji and Irene.
