  • Catharsis Factor: Many of the Malicious Compliance and Pro Revenge videos are based around this.
    • Watching the entitled parents get what they deserve is extremely satisfying after seeing how they treat the people surrounding them.
  • Heartwarming Moments: Puppy Bloopers are usually a mix of this and Funny Moments.
  • Nightmare Fuel: In one r/NuclearRevenge, it focused on a family from the mid-late 1800's witnessing the severe abuse of a biracial affair child. One day, the child stops showing up around town with the excuse that he had an illness. Then shortly afterwards, a dog is seen in the town with a child sized rib in it's mouth. After gathering up some locals, the men in the town decide to investigate. They broke into her house only to find the bisected, flayed, and dismembered remains of the boy. The town, naturally was furious about this, and killed the mother her son, and another relative. Jesus.
  • Realism-Induced Horror: Some of the more serious videos have themes of Stalking, Abuse, Assault, Racism, Homophobia, and Harassment, which make the situations in the story all the more unsettling.
  • Squick: Occasionally comes up in some of his videos.
    • There was one AITA video where OP found out that her Father in law had a Fetish for breastmilk.
    • Another video had Op's husband that was obsessed with farting constantly. And then one day while doing laundry, she slowly realized that he was crapping himself for laughs. Even Rslash started laughing in sheer disgust.
    • One cant help but get nauseated by the story about the woman whose friend was dry breastfeeding the woman's baby without her consent or knowledge. It doesn't help that she had apparently been doing it long enought to start producing actual milk.
  • The Woobie: Sometimes the children involved in the stories and the main OPs get the short end of the stick in their situations.
    • One can't help but feel bad for the boys in this Best Of Redditor Updates story. They have to watch their mother's behavior and addiction problems deteriorate until one day she ends up overdosing on her "friend's" couch and dies. Luckily, OP ended up getting custody of the kids.
