• Harsher in Hindsight: In series 1 (2017), the contestants played a game of Where is Kazakhstan?, during which they had to identify where the 2017 Eurovision final was (it was in Kyiv, Ukraine). One of the contestants, Clive Myrie, an anchor for BBC News, not only missed Kyiv, but wasn't able to locate Ukraine itself on the map. Come the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Myrie has done numerous reports from Kyiv and around Ukraine.
• Unexpected Character: Philip Glenister when he appeared as a contestant in Series 5, Week 5.
