• Take That, Scrappy!: In what can probably be interpreted as the show pouring cold water on any chance of Kochanski ever returning as a main character (if at all), she's mentioned precisely once during the Continuity Cavalcade that makes up the second half of the episode, and even then only to establish that Lister actually isn't married to her in his ideal life.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: So we have an episode where Rimmer is trying to find a universe where he isn't such a loser... and Ace Rimmer isn't mentioned once? Even though he himself (or the previous hologram version of him, that is never established) once took up the mantle. What a great opportunity to at least partially pick that up again.
