- Hollywood Pudgy: Everyone claims that Sadie is chubby, even Sadie herself. Her design is barely any different than any of the other characters. She mostly seems just round-faced.
- Moe: Sadie, with her kindhearted and innocent nature, is really adorable.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Amira and Sadie are less sympathetic than intended to some people given how they incessantly mock Vladric, mostly calling him "Butthead" instead of his real name just because he was a bit stuck up, not wanting to be rescued by a girl. It comes off as just a bit like Claire, Sadie's older sister, who cruelly bullies her.
