• Bizarro Episode: Arguably, their cover of "Barbie Girl," which invokes Uncanny Valley by having its vocalists look and act like dolls, and has Morgan James doing a theremin imitation with her voice, complete with a surprise Tambourine Guy appearance.
• Ensemble Dark Horse:
  • The tambourine guy (Tim Kubart) who is adored for his unrelenting enthusiasm despite the fact he is only featured on a few songs.
  • Kenton Chen first appeared singing backup for Sara Niemietz in the "Hey Ya!" cover, and quickly gained a fanbase within the YouTube comments. Come "MMMbop," he's one of four lead vocalists, and his solo during the bridge as well as his impressive falsetto and range left many fans desiring a solo video from him. He eventually got two: "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails and "Closer" by The Chainsmokers.
