- The Woobie:
- Pinocchio: He started off the story with losing his father Gepetto, then he is forcefully turned back into a real boy which deprived him of his most valuable weapon against the vampires and by the end of the story, he performs a Heroic Sacrifice as he is turned back into a tree stump.
- Master Cherry: He ended up being turned into a vampire in the first volume and by the second volume, he is staked to death by Pinocchio.
