  • Scrappy Mechanic: ARC⌖CODA allows you to upload your scores to online leaderboards, but does it in a somewhat cumbersome fashion. You need to have a smart phone/tablet with NOISZ STARLIVHT installed, then you need to scan an on-screen QR code that appears at the end of your play session; this will take you to a website with a link that opens up STARLIVHT to upload your score. If you don't have the app installed (which is hundreds of megabytes due to the app being a full-fledged game of its own) and decide to take a picture of it to scan later, or go install the app right on the spot but can't download it at fiber-level speeds (not to mention, if the arcade doesn't have wifi, you will probably use up a lot of your cellular data), then tough luck, because scores uploaded after more than 5 minutes won't count. And it has to be within 5 minutes of the cabinet's system clock, so if the cab's clock is set slow (which is highly possible, as the game runs on the exA-Arcadia hardware which does not have Internet connectivity, and therefore does not have a "network time" to sync to), you probably won't be able to upload your score at all.
  • Spiritual Successor: The use of white bullets with blue shines, black bullets with red shines, and a shield that can absorb these bullets basically make this the best Boss Game spinoff of Ikaruga.
