• Alternative Character Interpretation: The author believes that Miho, while happier at Oarai, has at least a few fond memories of and friends at Black Forest, and that her Heroic Self-Deprecation causes her to underestimate her own talent.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: In Chapter 7, which was published before the Anzio OVA came out, Yukari infiltrates Anzio.
• Jerkass Woobie: Teru. She pushes Saki away when Saki makes earnest attempts to reconcile with her, but more than a few of the characters feel bad for her when they find out the truth of why her family broke apart, even if they don't think it justifies her treatment of Saki.
