- Visual Effects of Awesome: This game easily boasted some of the best visuals in a Monster Hunter game during its lifetime, with the CryEngine 3 pumping out high-polygon visuals at framerates of 60 FPS or more, assuming capable PC hardware on your end, years before Monster Hunter: World brought proper HD (as in, not just upscaling an existing 3DS or PSP game) to the mainline games.
