YMMV / Miraculous Ladybug S05E20 "Revelation"

  • Alternate Aesop Interpretation: As seen in the main page, the message of this episode is that some people are rotten to the core and won't change no matter how many chances they're given. But from the way Chloé effortlessly worms her way around it, it can be inferred that some people never change not because they're inherently bad, but because they're constantly shielded from suffering the consequences of their actions.
  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Did Sabrina really screw up by writing her own name on ChloĆ©'s paper, or given that she has been subtly opposed to ChloĆ©'s actions of late, did she do it deliberately as an act of rebellion and lie to save face?
  • Catharsis Factor: Adrien's infamous "high road" advice from "Chameleon" is seen as one of his most disliked moments (even by his fans) and was a massive turning point in how the fanbase saw him. So many fans felt pleased and vindicated when Adrien admitted to Marinette at the end of the episode that said piece of advice was wrong and he should have never discouraged her from unmasking Lila.
  • Salvaged Story: One for those who are still angry at Adrien for telling Marinette to not expose Lila's lies back in "Chameleon". Here, Adrien admits to Marinette that he was wrong about Lila and that he shouldn't have told Marinette to not expose her. While fans may not be completely willing to forgive Adrien just yet, they can agree that Adrien finally admitting that he was wrong about Lila is a good start for fixing his mistakes.
