- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: One optional mission featuring Satyus has the Guru G.G. switch Killizerk's gender to the one the player didn't pick for some kind of date. It all comes out of nowhere, doesn't seem to affect anything that happens within the mission, and the Guru G.G. had never shown this sort of power previously and doesn't show it afterwards. The switch isn't permanent and is over with the mission. Satyus doesn't even comment on it or show any change towards the main character because of it.
- Enjoy the Story, Skip the Game: With how simplistic, easy, and repetitive the combat in the game is, some players opt to just skip through the battles and enjoy the fully-voiced Japanese dialog, character interactions, and the plot.
- So Okay, It's Average: Many reviewers and players are of the opinion that it's a decent JRPG, but only appeals to a niche audience and is probably best bought on sale than its full asking price. In terms of USD, it first went up at 40 USD but many reviewers thought that 20-30 USD would have been a much more palatable price, considering its quality and what's on offer.
