• Alternate Character Interpretation: Decker and Sobieski's relationship is never really given enough detail to tell what its exact nature is beyond the two of them being very close, leaving it up to interpretation on if they are family, friends or even lovers. The most likely implication is that the two form a pack, meaning that they're essentially brothers even if they aren't blood related and would also explain why after Sobieski's death, Decker is completely unable to follow protocol as the bond has shattered and It's Personal for him.
