YMMV / Locusts: The 8th Plague

• Anvilicious: The movie really pounds it in that "you shouldn't mess with nature" and "artificial pesticides are evil (but organic ones aren't!)" Even the precautions taken by the scientists (the locusts are supposed to be sterile) don't work.
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • There's a child that has to watch his parents be devoured by the ravenous crimson red monsters. All during a nice picnic...
  • Then there's the amusement park scene. Imagine being on a ride like a roller coaster or tower drop and a swarm of deadly locusts start attacking and killing you with no way to escape due to being several feet in the air.
• Special Effects Failure: You can tell that the victims aren't really being covered in locusts. And while the cows get eaten to the bones, the human corpses aren't (though that might be to make the dead characters recognizable.)
