  • Seasonal Rot: The show never recovered after Jamie and Zoe left. They were immediately followed by, em, Steve and Emma (both pretty forgettable). The show then ended the following year with a 4 strong team led by Katy Hill (more memorable, but for the wrong reasons).
  • Tear Jerker: On his last show, Andi Peters started to visibly break down as he was attempting to give a farewell speech. Of course, the whole studio was in quite an emotional occasion anyway, but that totally didn't help the situation at all.
    • The last episode (before another Saturday morning show regeneration) can come across as this too. Almost all of the characters and presenters from the show's past were brought back for one last time for a final farewell and, towards the end, Steps started playing "The Way You Make Me Feel" with some of the show's highlights running along. Yeah...
      • And that's not even mentioning the fact that, if you watched this live between 1993 and 2001, you would have spent eight years and up to 267 episodes just on this one show. Now that's one hell of a big loss.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: One of several US imports aired during the show was The Simpsons (also screening in the early evening on BBC Two at the time), which aired completely uncut, resulting in an embarrassing incident where the "Let's have sex!" line from "Deep Space Homer" aired intact at 10 in the morning.
