• Designated Love Interest: There really isn't a reason for Yee to be around, other than for starting a romantic subplot with Man-hin. And then be killed near the end for drama.
• Special Effect Failure: The present-day scenes are supposed to depict an elderly Wai and Man-hin narrating their past battles from 40 years ago to a challenger, but it looks more like◊ Wong Dayo and Donnie Yen used too much grey dye on their hairs. The fact that they don't have wrinkles, despite being supposedly 40 years older, doesn't help.
