• Designated Villain: Duncan harasses Maxine and Stephanie, and picks apart their story. Then again, they are con artists. Some productions play up his Holier Than Thou tendencies to make him more of a Jerkass
• Strawman Has a Point: Duncan is the antagonist because he opposes Jack and Leo, but really, they are trying to scam Florence out of her money by pretending to be people they aren't...
