- Arc Fatigue: Often cited as one of the reasons it failed to gain an audience is that some readers felt the story was going nowhere. Orikawa and Koga were never even close to be together and were arguably the pair of characters that interacted the least with each other during the whole series. Moriya's Dark and Troubled Past is hinted but never fully explored. Koga and Moriya being Mistaken for Gay is never clarified, Orikawa possibly having a crush on Moriya doesn't go anywhere and around halfway throught his run it seemed to have gave up on these elements and just focused on being a Slice of Life focused on the four characters. Even the epilogue only progression in the story was Orikawa and Koga getting a Maybe Ever After
- Better on DVD: Given the chapters were 1-page long each, a lot of times you had to wait days or even weeks for a situation to be completed or even get the punchline of the previous chapter. Unsurprisingly, some readers prefered to wait for 15 or 20 chapters to be released and then catch up instead of reading every new chapter their days of release . Once the series was cancelled it started to get a better reception since people could read the whole thing in one sitting instead of waiting weeks for 2 or 3 more pages.
- Fandom-Specific Plot: More like Fandom Specific Crossover, since it's cancellation it has become a popular idea to integrate characters from this manga in No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular! fanworks.
- Friendly Fandoms: Is safe to say, the fandom is mostly composed of No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular! fans who see it as a fun complement to their manga.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Moriya is hinted to have a Dark and Troubled Past in the early chapters involving Abusive Parents and a Friendless Background but it was mostly forgotten by the second half of the manga and was never fully explored.
- Unexpected Character: While they are Nico Tanigawa's most popular characters, it was still quite a surprise to see Tomoko Kuroki and Yuri Tamura in one special chapter.
- Unpopular Popular Character: Like with Nico Tanigawa's most popular work. All of the 4 main characters are friendless losers in canon but are popular among readers.
