- Values Dissonance: Hari and Aarti find each other, date and fall in love in much the same way college-age Americans would, allowing for the different cultural and social situations, but Hari favors an Arranged Marriage for his son, and sort of loses his temper and guilt-trips him when the son objects. It is implied that Aarti would have supported this marriage as well.
