• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: As bemoaned by many reviewers, the demo released years prior to the game's completion established a dark premise involving a twisted alliance between a down-on-his-luck protagonist and the owner of a burger joint as they prepare themselves to sell human meat to the masses following a back-alley knife fight that ends bloodily. While the events linger on the protagonist's mind thorough the game, it takes a backseat to a more whimsical, fantastical story following the introduction of the Goblin Realm and a trio of co-workers who don't even bother going back to work after their first shift as a bigger mystery pulls them (and you) in and the joint's Boss up and leaves. Only at the very end is this finally addressed and resolved.
