  • Informed Wrongness: Male protagonists with tsundere friends are often treated as if they are oblivious to love, but considering the way their tsundere friends are, it's hard to blame them.
  • It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: Stories involving the most popular girl falling in love with the average guy tend to be unpopular, due to being seen as clichés and exaggerated examples of wish-fulfillment.
  • Unintentionally Unsympathetic:
    • In "My girlfriend accused me of cheating, so I dumped her, but then I got fired...", We are meant to feel bad for the girlfriend after Koki broke up with her, but his girlfriend accused him of cheating, and after explaining that it was her sister instead of apologizing, she told him that she forgives him and says that it was his fault. Even after everything, she never apologizes to him, making a lot of viewers wish Koki didn't get back together with her.
    • The FMC tsunderes have this reputation within the fandom, as many of them actually seem to hate the protagonist, to the point of insulting or belittling them.
