• Goddamned Bats: Melters and stasis tanks don't deal any damage, but they do hit you with very annoying armor and speed debuffs.
• Scrappy Mechanic: You have no control over where in a city your kaiju spawns. Even if the game doesn't explicitly tell you it's a trap, it's very easy to end up being dropped right to a battleship task force that you can easily take a few hundred damage from before you even get around to destroying a single building.
