- Nightmare Fuel: The opening to the Sega Genesis starts with a silhouetted Darkseid facing the player, pulsing red eyes glowing as he drones "You will never defeat me. I control the technology. I have the power to control your mind." before his eyes flash red and cover the screen with the color. This being one of the first voiced moments of Darkseid since Superfriends, whoever did his voice nailed down his fearsomeness perfectly.
