• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: During Golden Wind, when the gang is eating at a restaurant in Venezia, Mista randomly asks if vegans can eat cheese. This causes Fugo to explain that vegans aren't allowed to eat anything that contain ingredients that come from animals, and that includes gelatin and cakes that were made with cream, before saying that there are plenty of desserts that don't use animal products. Outside of Fugo, nobody else in the group says anything about this.
• Hilarious in Hindsight: The series gives Holly Kujo a younger brother in the form of George Joestar III, the series's version of Johnny Joestar. One year later after Spirit Tracks was published, Part 9, called The JOJOLands, would show that the new timeline's Holly Joestar had another sister, whose younger son Jodio is the protagonist.
