  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
    • Valerie Montenegro. She could have contributed to the movie by telling the 3 protagonists about their family's drug trade and put her and her son Angelo to the Witness Protection Program. But instead, she whined about not letting her youngest son enter their family's illicit trade but doesn't want to tell the authorities because she knew that her husband can kill her or separate her from her youngest son.
    • Speaking of which, Angelo could have been an interesting character if he swallowed their family's ecstasy because he is confusing it with a chewable kiddie tablet in order to show the viewers that illicit drugs can badly affect the mental and physical health of a child who got exposed to illegal drugs, which is Truth in Television. But since the audience doesn't want to see Baeby Baste (who played Angelo) suffering from the effects of ecstasy, it was a missed opportunity.
  • What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids?: For a G-rated film, this movie was filled with PG-13 related stuff like Drugs (though no one is shown being overdosed), Bloodless Carnage akin to Ang Probinsyano, and sexual innuendos (unfortunately, Coco never learned his lesson in his next film Tripol Trobol Huli ka Balbon).
