• Bizarro Episode: This episode feels more like a Season 1 episode. Or perhaps its seeming out of place in Season 2 might be chalked up to Early-Installment Weirdness. There is no court case to speak of, JAG's involvement would be difficult to justify in real life, David James Elliott and Catherine Bell are costumed as civilians rather than in uniform for most of the episode, Mac's part could just as easily have been given to Lt. Austin (Tracey Needham), and the repeated faces are not as obvious as in other JAG episodes. It would not be surprising if it turned out that the story was originally meant for Season 1. Then, rather than let the script go to waste, the writers made the appropriate adjustments and dropped it into Season 2.
